Louis-Patrick Haraoui

Professor Haraoui is an anthropologist, medical microbiologist and infectious disease specialist. His research projects, combining tools from molecular microbiology, history and ethnography, focus on: antimicrobial resistance (AMR); collective microbiomes.
Pr. Haraoui is a FRQS Junior 1 Clinical Research Scholar. He is nominated principal investigator (NPI) on a project on the biohistory of antibiotic-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii in the Middle East (New Frontiers in Research Fund – Exploration Stream). He was NPI on a Canadian Institutes of Health Research catalyst grant on the Global Governance of AMR in Conflicts.
Pr. Haraoui accepts to receive applications for graduate and post-doctoral students.
